Chelsea is a Ngāmotu local with whakapapa to Ngāti Huia, Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga and Ngāti Toa Rangatira. After studying architecture at Te Herenga Waka in Wellington she returned home to Taranaki and joined BOON as an architectural graduate.
Growing up in Taranaki has shaped Chelsea’s connection to people and place and enjoys seeing these connections reflected through architecture. She particularly values the relationships that sit behind a project and the opportunity to work alongside people and communities to create spaces that feel meaningful and connected to where they belong.
Outside of office, Chelsea enjoys spending time with friends and whānau and always having something social on the calendar.
