BOON initially designed a version of this home in 2007.
The large house cuts carefully into the surrounding hillside. The four-bedroom 224sqm home has two living areas, and two bathrooms with fully tiled showers and quality fittings.
A trail of macrocarpa sleepers leads up to a stylish hardwood deck with raised garden beds and an outdoor bath. The designer kitchen is fitted out in Gaboon Plywood, and blends perfectly with the rest of the open-plan living. This has created a sense of streamlined simplicity. Entertaining is made easy with a door from the kitchen leading out to the deck for those alfresco dinners with guests.
Designed to stand the test of time, this house is fully sustainable, right down to the in-ground septic tank and water tanks. It’s also powered by its own solar panel system. With fantastic clients and a great project team this home was destined to stand out from the crowd.
