Following on from the success of the Solid Energy Centre, this project is the next stage in the Buller Vision master plan.
After years of local debate as to the future of the much loved St James Theatre in Westport, the building was demolished under urgency due to the discovery of serious decay in its primary structure.
Relocation of sporting and leisure activities from the community hall in Westport’s main street saw this building looking for a new use. After analysis of a number of options, the hall was selected as the new site for a 400 seat auditorium and boutique cinema complex.
