This interior fit-out project provided an opportunity to improve both operational and accessibility performance for the Tu Tama Wahine o Taranaki.

The vibrant interior solution has been developed to enhance the organisation’s core beliefs. Timber interior finishes to both walls and ceilings create a warm, rich atmosphere which clearly references the cultural background of Tu Tāma Wāhine o Taranaki.

An efficient, contemporary lighting scheme and graphic wall art to a number of finish surfaces, brings the organisation into the 21st century while at the same time respecting tradition.

Alteration to the exterior envelope was not part of the project brief, however new signage and a new colour scheme depicting the essence of the organisation’s logo motif gives life to a once tired-looking façade.
